How Our $0 Down Policy Works
No deposits. No liens. We buy the materials and pay our crews before you pay us, and you pay when the work is complete and you're satisfied.

We Carry the Financial Risk, So You Don't Have To
You have heard them from neighbors or seen them on the news: a homeowner pays a large deposit for materials, and the contractor disappears—or worse, starts the job and never finishes it. We realized that the only way to prove we are different was to change the financial model entirely.

No Liens

Pay When It's Done

$0 Down FAQs
Honest answers about deposits, liens and when you pay.
Is it really $0 down? How does that work?
Yes. In an industry where most contractors ask for 50% upfront, we operate differently. We have the financial stability to purchase materials and pay our crews before you pay us. We believe you should see materials on-site and progress being made before money changes hands. It keeps us accountable and keeps you protected.
Why don't you ask for a deposit?
Because deposits are where homeowners get hurt: a homeowner pays a large deposit for materials, and the contractor disappears, or starts the job and never finishes it. By requiring $0 Down, we align our incentives with yours.
How can you start without a deposit?
We are financially stable enough to fund your project upfront. We have the capital to absorb the risk upfront because we stand behind every job we do, across more than 800 completed projects.
When do I pay?
Our $0 Down promise means you pay when the work is complete and you're fully satisfied. Full payment or financing approval is required upon substantial completion of the work or as defined in your specific Construction Agreement.
Will you put a lien on my house?
No. Texas Greatest Remodelers does not require deposits to start work and does not file liens simply to begin a project.
Can I finance instead of paying at completion?
Yes. We offer plans with 0% interest and terms up to 15 years. We build the project first and let you verify the quality of the work before the loan ever funds. All financing is subject to credit approval by the third-party lender. See our financing options.
Does $0 down apply to every service?
Yes. It is our standard payment structure, where no deposit is required to begin work: roofing, foundation repair, siding, painting, flooring, fencing, patios, kitchens, bathrooms and whole-home remodels.
What if I'm not satisfied with the work?
We don't get paid until you confirm it's perfect. That means we have every incentive to get it right. If something isn't right, we fix it.
Are you more expensive than other contractors?
Not necessarily. Pricing reflects proper preparation, coordinated execution, and single-company accountability, which often prevents the added costs that come from fragmented or incomplete work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely. We carry a $2 Million General Liability policy and Worker’s Compensation coverage to protect your home and our crew. We are happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) directly from our provider with your name on it before we step foot on your property.
